Finally, the day has arrived. If you have not noticed the date then please check it once again. It is the 29th of February 2020. One of the days which comes after every four years. We also refer the year which contains an additional day as "Leap year".
I am not sure why I am suddenly, so excited about this day. It has not been that much in my notice in the past. But seems like the way of thinking have changed significantly for me and witnessing even small changes is affecting me a lot ;)
Some facts about this additional day 29th Feb :
The Earth does not orbit the Sun in exactly 365 days, If we precisely say it takes 365.24 (rounded) days. So in order to make or fix the additional day, another day is added in the calendar after every four years.
As I was reading few articles and came up to discover that there are several thoughts based on this day. Some say this day is very much lucky so couples propose to each other to make the relationship even stronger than it is. While on the other hand in a country it is also considered as an unlucky day whoever is born on this day in terms of love and relation.
Real-life incidents
I had celebrated one of my friend's birthday yesterday! As I, along with my friends were saying if only he was brought to this world a few hours later in this world, he would have got an amazing day to celebrate his birthday and even after that no pain for 4 years. Nevertheless, it was a nice small party for our friends to enjoy the day!
Fun Fact:
Marry your better half on this date (29.02.year)or marry someone who was born on this date. You do not have to celebrate the marriage day(in 4 years) either you will be pressurized of remembering the birth date of your gf or better half. JK ;)
Jokes apart, you have gotten an extra day for yourself. Use it wisely and make the best use of it. This is a page on my diary on the day of 29.02.2020.
