I love rainstorms. Mostly, I love being inside when a rainstorm hits. To just sit and be with family inside while the rain beats down on the house makes me feel cozy for some reason.
And I’m not talking about drizzles, I’m talking about storms, the ones where you see a quick flash of lightning, and here a loud, rumbling noise that you could have sworn made the ground shake.
Once, I was inside during a thunderstorm where I was at the table drawing or something when I saw all the windows just light up. I’m telling you, the blinds were closed, but the windows glowed bright white as if someone had put floodlights next to all the windows and turned them on all at once. Then, if you can believe it, I forgot exactly how the boom sounded, but I’ll tell you one thing: it was loud.
There were incidents when the lights went out and my family had no power for a while, and there we’re like, two times when lightning struck one of those green electricity boxes that sit in the neighborhood, and all I could hear was that electrical sound you here on tv, but in real life (the best I can explain what it sounds like is this: GGIIIZZZZZZ GNNNNNNZZZZZZ).
But overall, I find rainstorms enjoyable, and a nice time to be in the house with your family.
Have a superlative day!
