The Road So Far || El Camino hasta ahora
When I started writing, two things came to mind. First, a series called Supernatural with Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins. I loved that series. From there, the title of my presentation.
Second, an AC/DC song, Highway to Hell. Why? Well, just because. I think the moment called for it. Also, an excellent story always begins with a GOOD soundtrack. I’m not saying I am the story, but this one begins today with you.
Al empezar a escribir vinieron dos cosas a mi mente. Primero, una serie llamada Supernatural con Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki y Misha Collins. Me encantaba esa serie. De allí, el título de mi presentación.
Segundo, una canción de AC/DC, Highway to Hell. ¿Por qué? Pues, porque sí. Pienso que el momento lo ameritaba. Además, una excelente historia siempre comienza con una BUENA banda sonora. No digo que yo sea la historia, sino que ésta empieza hoy con ustedes.

Hello Hive community, my name is Ricardo Javier and my username is RickXavier. I was born in the city of Valencia, Venezuela. Since I was a child, without realizing it, I have carried this innocent passion for art in my heart. I have always loved movies and series, and in addition, I was able to see something more than just "entertainment." Gradually, I immersed myself in the world of anime and spent hours playing video games. But I didn't know what it was that captivated me, what it was that ignited this passion in me. Unconsciously, I learned to appreciate every part in an artistic sense: the quality of the drawing, the colors, the animation, the design, the scenes, the cameraman's shots, the director's decisions, the story, and the soundtrack.
Hola comunidad Hive, mi nombre es Ricardo Javier y mi usuario es RickXavier. Nací en la ciudad de Valencia, Venezuela. Desde que era pequeño, sin saberlo, he llevado en el corazón esta pasión inocente por el arte. Siempre me han encantado las películas, las series, y además, era capaz de ver algo más que solamente “entretenimiento”. Poco a poco fui sumergiéndome en el mundo del anime y pasaba horas jugando videojuegos. Pero no sabía qué era lo que me atrapaba, qué era lo que encendía en mí esta pasión. Sin darme cuenta, aprendía a apreciar cada parte en un sentido artístico: la calidad del dibujo, los colores, la animación, el diseño, las escenas, las tomas del camarógrafo, las decisiones del director, la historia y la banda sonora.
Im not an artist, not yet. || No soy un artista, no todavía
I am a novice in art and drawing, a student who wants to learn and improve in everything he does. I tend to take my time to do things well; I prefer to move forward calmly, ensuring every step I take. This last trait makes me a bit slow when doing things. I am very excited to start this project with you. My mission is to leave a record of my progress, evidence of what I was, and use this as motivation. Because to be completely honest, fighting discouragement is not easy. For now, I am the shadow of what I will be; a future designer, writer, and draftsman. So that this platform will be a way to look back, see my progress, and say: this is “My Road So Far”.
Soy un iniciado en el arte y el dibujo, un alumno que quiere aprender y mejorar en todo lo que hace. Suelo tomarme mi tiempo para hacer las cosas bien, prefiero avanzar con calma asegurándome de cada paso que doy. Esto último me hace ser un poco lento a la hora de hacer las cosas.
Me emociona mucho iniciar este proyecto con ustedes. Mi misión es dejar un registro de mi progreso, evidencia de lo que fui, y usar esto como motivación. Porque siendo completamente honesto, luchar contra el desánimo no es nada fácil. Por ahora, soy la sombra de lo que seré; un futuro diseñador, escritor y dibujante. Para que esta plataforma sea una forma de mirar atrás, ver mi progreso y decir: este es “Mi camino hasta ahora”.
