Something New on Dtube and Now on GEMS...
I have started a new series that is a spin off of the ABC show ,What Would You Do (WWYD). Where a social situation arises (many times controversial) and people are asked how they would react in that social situation.
So as a Hivian what would you do...
in this particular scenario in the video below? A waitress who happens to be a lesbian is doing her job at a local restaurant. Only to be harassed and left without a Tip by a couple because of her Lifestyle. Do you say something when the couple begins to question and harass her or do you remain quiet and go back to eating your lunch ?? (Similar "real" instances have occurred across the US)
What would I personally do ??
Well, I would almost do EXACTLY what the first woman did in the video across from the couple.Tell the couple to quit being rude. And finally after getting nowhere with the couple (who keep going on) I would also tell the waitress that she does NOT have to put up with them. And just leave which she does. And later the woman gives the waitress a big hug ( something else I would do).
The fact is there is no place for "openly" homophobic people in our Society. The sooner they die off the better, imho. Sorry I know that sounds harsh but Life is too short for this nonsense !
