Hola Hivers, como ya te mencioné en dos de mis post anteriores, siento pasión por escuchar música, es más de pequeño tuve la oportunidad hasta de estar en varias academias musicales, aunque no te voy a negar que era muy inquieto y me gustaba mucho más hacer deporte que hacer música.

Reggae Revival
Es el renacer del genero, un género que estaba perdiendo su esencia concentrado en los mismos artistas una y otra vez, en este caso artistas jóvenes tomaron la delantera para a pesar de utilizar ritmos tradicionales, esenciales del reggae ahora vienen ademas con ideas mas frescas.

1- Jesse Royal "Modern day Judas"
A pesar de que este riddim (ritmo) ha sido utilizado por varios artistas (Dre island, Tarrus Riley y Chronixx) y todas no dejan de ser igual de buenas, esta en especial tiene algo único, no sé si será la forma, la métrica que utiliza Jesse Royal, pero "Moder Day Judas" se las trae.

2- Chronixx "Capture Land"
Uno de mis artistas favoritos y con cada disco que saca, siempre hay algo para impresionarnos, y Dread and Terrible no fue la excepción, "Capture Land" cuenta con gran letra y acompañado de gran material visual y el sponsor "LRG".

Vemos además la participación de grandes artistas, No Maddz, jah 9, Hempress Sativa, Mortimer, entre otros.

Producida por Damian Marley dentro de los estudios Tuff Gong, "Well Done" es una canción de protesta contra corrientes políticas e idielógica que nos llama a conectarnos con la verdadera esencia de la vida, la sensibilidad e identificación por lo que te rodea.

5- Keida "Stand for something"
En mi top no podía faltar una artista femenino y es que hay tantas que me costo elegir solo una, pero aquí esta, Keida. Esta canción fue elegida también por su contenido de protesta social y porque personalmente es una de las artistas que más me gusta.
In my top I couldn't miss a female artist and there are so many that I had trouble choosing just one, but here she is, Keida. This song was also chosen because of its social protest content and because personally she is one of the artists I like the most.

-Dub Libitum "No Money No Fame"
Vale destacar que cada una de las canciones del top 5 fueron elegidas por su material visual y por letras con un mensaje profundo de denuncias sociales y la lucha eterna con respecto al ser y al tener.
