Hello lovely friends!
today the sun is shining brightly It's the right time for us to go to the fields. Apart from caring for plants we also get other benefits. The hot morning sun will make us healthier.
A few days ago I saw grasshoppers and caterpillars starting to attack the rice we planted. So while filling the holiday on Sunday we spray with insecticide.
It's a pity we still use insecticides with chemicals. However, because we have not been able to make organic insecticides we are forced to still use them. but this time we didn't just spray insecticide. we also added the fermented cow urine we made.
Insecticide plus urine
To spray 2000 square meters of land we use a tank with a capacity of 16 liters. each tank we use a dose of two types of insecticides. Dharmanas with a dose of two bottle caps of tin and Prevathon with a dose of one bottle cap of Dharmabas. So that it is mixed evenly, then pour water in a bucket and add the insecticide according to the dose. After that I added 400 milliliters of fermented cow urine.
After that I stir until evenly mixed and put it in the tank. Add water until the tank is full. After that we just spray it on the rice plants. because this tank is electric, we no longer need to pump the tank and only live the application.
For effective spraying, I regulate the release of insecticides from the sprayer in the form of water droplets like dew.
Because walking between rice plants, we have to adjust the spray speed. This is to keep it less wasteful and more efficient. For 2000 square meters of land I use 5 tanks.
Role of Cow Urine
Maybe someone will ask why I added cow urine fermentation. Or the question is whether cow urine does not have a pungent odor?
Look friend, our urine does not smell anymore. we do fermentation from cow urine that we collect.
The urine that has been processed is functioning as a liquid fertilizer. we are used to processing cow urine into liquid fertilizer.
in this spraying time I add urine to add nutrients to the rice we plant. we hope to be able to reap a good harvest so that it can be a source of income for us.
thus all my writing this time may useful for all of us.
