As a colorblind artist I struggled about colors for years. I always afraid of colors and felt intimidated by colorfull digital arts. Over the years my experiences has thaught me that there are nothing to be afraid of. I can do whatever I like and be happy about it. I dont have to be racing others. I can have my unique way of doing things. These alternative art paths helped me in my journey. It feels good to know plenty other options that I can do do make art. At the end of the day art does not mean color.
Sculpting
If you are a color blind and can't differentiate certain colors you might want to look into the sculpting. There is no color which is good. You only have to be good at sculpting which you can do in time. Blender is a good free alternative to begin. I am currently using Zbrush. You can sculpt miniatures for Tabletop RPG games or sculpt concept designs for movies and games. You can design jewelery for molding or 3D printing.
3D Modelling
You know what? 3D modelling can be a color free alternative like sculpting. You can model game assets or furniture and sell them as templates and online files. No need to wory about colors. 3D modelling does not require high level skill set like sculpting. You can learn much quicker and it is mostly technical. If you are in a game industry you'll making models out of concept art, no need to worry about design either. Everything is already planned out for you.
Sketching / Drawing on paper
Nothing beats the good old pen and paper. You can make cool pencil arts for your clients. You can make portraits of people. And you guessed it there is no color in this either. Whether its digital or paper you can make black and white line arts for coloring books, children books etc. Possibilities are endless.
Pottery
Clay is an amazing material. You can create almost anything with it. You can make cool pots and mugs for your friends and family. Make cool designs to sell them online. And skills you'll learn from playing with clay will also be usefull with digital sculpting as well. Zbrush is just the digital version of the actual clay. You can make small sculptures and figures to sell. Even if this isnt your job its a cool hobby to have without color.
Grayscale Painting
I know this does not seem to be an actual career path but here me out. If you go and practice grayscale painting you'll be a master of value. Later you can color these paintings with help of others or digital tools. Or have it your way, color them with the colors you see how ever you like. Its your character and its your painting do whatever you want. But do not be afraid to be a digital artist because of the colors. Start with grayscale and learn to use the colors you see , and go from there.
Laser Cutting
Start learning Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw or any other vectoral drawing software you like. You can draw and design things for lasser cutting. There is no colors in this type of design either. You only work with lines. You can do almost anything with a laser cutter. And people are looking for cool and innovative designs to make their life better. You can be the one who make these people happy. You can sell your digital files online and earn your life.

I am sure there are other art career paths that does not require perfect color vision. But there are the ones that I experienced over the years and implemented to my life. Do not be afraid that you don't see the world like others do. You have your own unique way of seeing things. Use it in your own advantages.
Have a nice day
