Good day, my beloved people. It’s your again, back with another heartfelt blog to share.
Of course, my graduation wouldn’t be complete without the guidance, sacrifices, and unwavering support of my parents and my entire family. This one is for them.
Dear Family
This diploma has your names on it...
To my parents,
Thank you for everything you’ve taught me, both spoken and unspoken. Thank you for showing me how to love unconditionally, and how to remain kind and generous even when that kindness isn’t returned.
In my 18 years of existence, I have witnessed your struggles, your silent battles, your sacrifices, your regrets, your strength, and your joy. And through all of that, I learned what it means to endure, to accept, and to keep going.
You carried burdens you never had to, just to give us a life we never even thought to ask for. Life hasn’t always been easy for us, but you made sure we never felt left behind. Even in your limitations, you found ways to make us feel whole.
There were moments when we didn’t fully understand your decisions like when you wouldn’t let us go out as freely as others. Some may call it being overly protective, but now I see it differently. You weren’t holding us back... you were protecting us from things we couldn’t yet see. It was never about lack of trust in us, but caution toward the world around us.
And for that, I am grateful.
Now, your daughter has graduated. And I know, deep in my heart, that you are proud and that thought alone means everything to me.
I may never be able to repay all the love and sacrifices you’ve given, but I hold onto this promise: one day, I will give you the life you’ve always dreamed of. A life where you no longer have to struggle just to get by. A life where you can finally rest.
I love you more than words can ever fully express. I love you 3000. I will always choose you as my parents when given second chances in this lifetime.
To my siblings,
Thank you for being real with me, for the honesty, the laughter, the chaos, and the comfort. What we have as siblings is something rare, and I don’t take that for granted.
I have never once regretted being born into this family.
We may have different dreams, different paths, and different timelines but in every version of my future, you are always there. Because if there’s one thing I’m sure of, it’s that I want to stay with you all for as long as life allows.
Thank you for the laughter that filled our home, for the teasing that somehow became love, and for the loyalty that never needed to be questioned. You are the siblings I never asked for but somehow, you became the greatest blessing I could ever have.
Through every hardship we’ve faced and every lesson we’ve learned, you were always there. And for that, I am endlessly grateful.
I hope nothing ever changes between us. I hope we all find success in our own ways. And when that time comes, I hope we still find time for each other—to talk, to laugh, and to simply exist as we always have.
If there’s another life, another world, another chance, I would still choose you to be my siblings.
Always.
