Hello, my beloved people! Is life's going well with you? Well, today, I'm gonna share with you guys my fifth day diary as an immersion student in High School.
I came late today because of the heavy rain, which made it difficult to travel and arrive at school on time. The weather caused some delays on the road, but as soon as I arrived, I immediately prepared myself to continue with the tasks that needed to be accomplished for the day. I did not want my late arrival to affect my responsibilities, so I tried to make up for the lost time by being more focused and productive. One of the main tasks I helped with was the recording of scores. I carefully listed and organized the students’ scores to ensure that everything was accurate and properly documented. This task required patience and attention to detail because even a small mistake could affect the students’ records.
Aside from recording the scores, I also assisted in checking the summative papers of the students. I made sure to review the answers carefully and double-check the counting of the scores so that the results would be correct. While doing these tasks, I tried my best to stay attentive and responsible. However, the day was a bit challenging for me physically because I was not feeling well. I was sick and also experiencing menstrual cramps since I was on my period. Despite the discomfort and the weakness I was feeling, I reminded myself that being part of the internship requires commitment and responsibility. Instead of focusing on the discomfort, I chose to focus on completing my assigned tasks.
Actually for the past few days, there was an ST who caught my attention because of how organized and dedicated he was in handling his work. I observed how he managed his tasks calmly and responsibly, which inspired me to continue doing my best as well. Seeing their dedication motivated me to stay focused and not let my physical condition affect my performance too much. It reminded me that professionalism and commitment are important qualities to develop as someone who is training to become a future educator.
To conclude my blog, even though the day started with challenges such as the heavy rain, my late arrival, and not feeling physically well, I still managed to complete my tasks and remain productive. The experience taught me the importance of perseverance, responsibility, and maintaining a positive mindset despite difficulties. It also reminded me that observing the dedication of others can be a source of motivation. And overall, this day helped me realize that challenges are part of the learning process, and overcoming them helps me grow stronger and more prepared for my future career.
Have a nice day, everyone 😊.
