Hello everyone!
Today is the most joyous holiday for Orthodox Christians, Easter.
Some people celebrated it on March 31, and I celebrate it today with my family and friends. In honor of this holiday, I decided to paint an icon of the Lord Jesus Christ and in tune with this holiday and the spring season. 🌸
As far as the resurrection is concerned, if anyone were to ask what the essence of our faith is - the answer would be in three words, and they are: Christ is risen! Without the resurrection of human nature in the person of the God-born Christ, man, regardless of how good he is, could never grasp the Godhead, and therefore could never live eternally. Only by participating in the resurrection do we also participate in eternity.
Let's believe in God and in eternal life, every trouble comes and goes, just be strong and believe, because faith moves mountains. Let's be good and spread love because the only meaning of life on Earth is love.. ❤️
