Baguio City will open its doors to her neighbors on September 21. This means that the quiet city life we are currently experiencing right now may return to its traffic-congested and crowd milling state.
Before that happens, I decided to have a walk at Burhnam Park and enjoy its serenity before the tourists will take over. I mean, we are in the middle of a pandemic with no cure in sight, but I'm sure people will come in droves since they love Baguio so much.
This park bench hasn't had a person's butt for a few months now...

Flowers started blooming everywhere in relative peace. They grow on another park bench...
... and under the trees.
Burnham Park's skating rink has an eerie atmoshphere to it. I could almost imagine a phantom skater gliding over the floor.
The Athletic Bowl just across was turned into a Triage Area. Weeds now grow on the tracks and field since early morning joggers and runners are not yet allowed inside. The rails, goals and seats are now rusted too! The area is perfect for a photograph though.
