I'm currently in a group meeting for my psychology class. We had to conduct a real psychology experiment for this term, which required much hard work: constantly meeting with my groupmates, endless discussions over designing the experiment, running countless statistical experiments...
I'm studying psychology and we don't have a mandatory internship, but we have this difficult experiment-conducting class instead. After passing this course, there is not usually much difficulty left till the graduation, so needless to say it's a quite demanding course.
However, it's been incredibly tough for me to contribute or even to catch up with the group, because I've realized that I'm not quite interested in studying psychology and completely gave up on studying psychology subjects last year. What happens in this course is that every time I join the group meetings, I make little to no contribution and leave the meeting with negative feelings about myself.
You can say that I'm looking forward to the end of this term and especially the ending of this course.
It'll be a huge stress release for me!
