Wednesday Walk by the Sacramento River, Part 2

I went by the river yesterday.

The water has changed from last week's turquoise blue...

... to olive green.

I wonder what is the true color of the Sacramento River .

I love the water and growing up I enjoyed drawing and painting the ocean and river waters blue, like many kids would do.

True color is the color of the water after the suspended particles have been removed. Suspended particles are things such as algae, sediments, or small particles of a mineral.
