Hello Hive,
so what do you do on a less sunny Sunday like today?
In my case, I'm still working on a design for a website that I need to finish in time. But actually I don't feel like working, it wouldn't have to be.
I would much rather indulge my passion and gamble. Not just any game, but Valorant. Riot Games got me hooked with the combination of CS and Overwatch. After the release of Fortnite finally a game that really interests me.
I can't see Fortnite anymore, let alone play it for a longer time. Unfortunately it became very tiring... Every now and then it can be a round of League of Legends or Teamfight Tactics, but I'm not really bothered by that.
But then came the pious message:
Riot-Game released Valorant, a game designed according to my preferences, both graphically and by the obvious game mechanics. Especially the combination of the individual elements seemed very appealing. Then came the announcements for the closed beta. Players get access by watching streams on Twitch.tv, distributing random airdrops among the viewers.
I didn't know it that way now, but I found the strategy itself interesting. As someone who has had a Riot Account for over 10 years now, you might think - it worked back then, it always worked, why wouldn't it work?
So after the start of the closed beta, I also streamed to my screen and waited to get a key to test this interesting looking game. But my hopes were quickly dashed. First hours passed, then days, now already weeks and I still have no key.
And it turns me off hard, but because of my boredom in between I had a stream on every now and then. You don't have to watch it actively, it's enough if it runs on the side. This was the case a few hours ago. Stream on, read some things on social media and then I get a message in the discord.
More precisely a screenshot:
This is my colleague who received his key after 20 minutes of watching. So I thought to myself, and forgive the expression - kiss my ass.
What's the saying? "Alt + F4 and the day is yours"?
I finally took the advice to heart and went on a trial run instead, toying with the idea of buying a smaller share of Hive.
But then I found the following market situation:
Well, I find this remarkable, since I was able to realize my first purchase at a price of 0.0000115 BTC per HIVE. If you compare this with the current Seller Front starting at 0.0000185, I think I have caught a good time. But maybe this has something to do with the time that some are using to deal with issues like crypto currencies due to the ongoing crisis.
As I read some articles about HIVE threatening a sell-out by frozen token stocks on the Binance stock exchange, I am not buying for the moment. Instead, I double my stake on this platform by adding most of the liquid hive volume from my previous purchase.
Apart from the first rewards for writing, which I have already received, I initially had 1000 HIVE Power. I doubled this shortly before the release of this post. Now it is 2250 HIVE Power. Soon I will add 100 HIVE, which I have already received through the payouts.
All in all it's probably not a bad thing to leave the tokens on the exchange, apart from the direct liquidity and some security risks.
In the meantime I have calmed down a bit, so that I will throw a valorant stream on the screen again.
For all of you, who don't want to watch Valorant, but are looking for other informative content, here is an interesting video:
This is surely nothing for every man, but as I perceive it here, one or the other interested person will find it, as far as he doesn't already know the video.
In this sense, have a nice Sunday!
