Thanks for the history lesson. I'm not sure if we had a similar scene in the UK, but we had some self-appointed censors like Mary Whitehouse trying to control what we could see.
I expect there's 'underground' stuff online, but it's hard to shut down. I know our own is a fan of Crumb. His work might upset some sectors. I think most adults can handle it.
