I wrote a post about a walk along the Red River as part of the Wednesday Walks challenge two months ago. The route of this walk was almost exactly the same as our walk in the same places twelve years earlier. There was little change in the composition of the participants as well, only one substitution was made in the team. Twelve years ago we were very lucky with the weather during this walk. It was a sunny day and the scenery looked very beautiful.
During our walk this January, it was overcast and gray, so I decided to search my photo archive for old photos taken twelve years ago. Some of these photos I had published immediately in my LiveJournal, but the photo hosting had ceased to exist and these photos are now inaccessible. Other pictures were just sitting in my archives all these years, hoping that one day I would remember them and publish them. Well, that moment has arrived.
I processed and prepared those pictures and it turned out that there were too many for one post, so I divided my story into two parts. In the first part were photos made between Marshala Zhukova Avenue and Doblesti Street, in the second part will be photos made at the final stage of the walk, from Doblesti Street to the Gulf of Finland.
