Fort Taber New Bedford
I still haven't got out for any photo walks yet, so sharing a few shots of a walk Lulu and I did around Fort Taber last year, and we had planned to go for a walk thee today, we have a couple of appointments but hopefully this afternoon we may be able to visit there, I have prepared for the chance we get out for a walk and have my camera batteries on charge sitting idle for a few months they were pretty flat.
Starting with a shot of a rock wall there and some nice sunset colors

And next up the fort itself and showing one of the walkways in the area, its a good spot for our first walk as with having had a broken and now a replacement hip Lulu is a bit worried about walking the trails we had visited last year as the paths in the trails can be slippery in places and she did slipa couple of times, so I do understand that but am more than happy to go on walks in places like Fort Taber where there are nice smooth walkways which will be easier for her

Fort Taber District or the Fort at Clark's Point is a historic American Civil War-era military fort on Wharf Road within the former Fort Rodman Military Reservation in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The fort is now part of Fort Taber Park, a 47-acre town park located at Clark's Point. Fort Taber was an earthwork built nearby with city resources and garrisoned 1861-1863 until Fort Rodman was ready for service.
It is at the end of a point with lots of views over the water so a greta place to walk and get some fresh air

We did visit there a couple of times and these shots are from both visits so hence the different skies in the shots
