Hey Hive people,
It has been some time since posting, but I've been logging on most days. It's great to see Hive doing so well!
I have been continuing to find silver metal detecting, however, I always get excited about my first old-type of coin. I found my first Buffalo Nickel in a public park!!
1936 Philadelphia mint, not a rare date, just glad to find one!
Nickels are tricky because they read on a detector the same as aluminum. Often, people avoid these signals because they don't want to dig trash. Gold also rings up in this range, so it's worth digging through some underground trash for the pay-dirt!
I hope to get back on open mic soon as well!
Stay thirsty for treasure.
Cheers!
