After missing so many things in the last few weeks, we finally packed our stuff and went to Slovenia to visit family and friends. Ohhh how much I missed them! It felt so amazing to see everyone again. To just sit down, talk, laugh, and forget everything else for a little while.
And honestly...I noticed something strange lately. After so much stress and this new therapy, my head feels...empty? Or maybe just quiet. Before, when I started writing or talking, words were flowing out of me nonstop. My head was always full of thoughts, emotions, chaos, stories…
But now?
Sometimes I just sit there and cannot find the right words anymore. Not only when writing, even talking feels harder sometimes.
So I was REALLY happy when my girls decided we needed a small gathering. Just us. Talking, laughing, catching up after life happened to all of us. And now it is not only girls anymore...now there are babies too! Our little group got bigger. ❤️❤️
And my emotions? Completely everywhere.
We are really grown-ups now. It hit me so hard when I looked around and realized those girls now have babies. REAL babies! And I love all of them with my whole heart.
And finally we also have one little girl in our tiny baby gang…💪 Before her, there were only boys. But trust me...this little girl will absolutely be the boss of all of them, even if she is the youngest. ☺️
She already has that energy.
The boys are loud, running around, screaming everywhere.
She just sits there quietly, probably already planning how to control them all.😂
We laughed SO hard when our parents saw all of us together with babies. They were like: “Wait...when did you girls stop being so crazy?”
Oh dear parents...we are still crazy.
We just do not need permission to go out anymore. 😂
I was also so happy to spend time with my brother. He moved in with his girlfriend now. (Yeah...my parents are still a little shocked about that 😉) But he is building his own life, and of course he cannot stay home forever. (Even if my mother still has some hope)
We spent two nights there playing games, talking, and having huge debates about everything happening around us. And honestly, listening to my husband and my brother debating is one of the funniest things ever.
When they disagree about something?
Ohhhh...there goes one full hour immediately. 😂
And at the end nobody changes their opinion anyway. 😏
Of course we also visited his parents and their little paradise place. I could not wait to go there again, especially now when the weather is finally sunny and warm!
And there are new residents there too.
Ducks 😉
I know they are ducks. I also know they are deeply in love. Probably married too. 😉 I never really looked into duck species before, so I had no idea which one was male and which one was female.
So...Google time 😉
Mallard ducks are basically the drama couple of every pond.
The male mallard is the flashy one. Green head, yellow beak, full fashion show. And honestly? I must admit they are cuter than the females. (But do NOT tell them that...their ego is already big enough) 😉
The female mallard has brown feathers, looks like a camouflage queen, and carries strong tired mom energy.
And the funniest part?
After mating season, the male loses his fancy feathers and suddenly looks much less special. Nature really said: “Humble yourself.” 😉
And of course, the female builds the nest and takes care of the babies while the male hangs around like: “Good luck everybody.”
Pffff...cute, but still acting like a typical man 😉))
Baby ducks can swim almost right after hatching. Tiny fluffy speedboats. Honestly sounds like every parent's dream 😉
They eat plants, bugs, seeds, and random pond snacks. Basically, little floating vacuum cleaners. Every lake owner is probably happy when they show up and start cleaning 😉
And you know what?
Female mallards are louder. Big confident QUACK. So yes...very female behavior 😉
Male mallards make soft weird sounds like they forgot how to duck properly. Or maybe they just know they are not allowed to speak when the woman is around 😉
And they fly SO fast. Cute little ducks on the water...fighter jets in the sky. It is honestly amazing to watch!
And these two? Totally confident. Walking around us like they own the whole place, not caring about humans at all 😉
And the best part?
The fishes...fisheeees 😉
I LOVE taking photos of them. But honestly, they are terrible models. I had to throw food just to get some decent photos. And even then...still not professional enough 😂
Maybe I need to teach them how to pose properly 🤔
So now our visit is over, and I am back home again. Sitting here, writing, reading a lot, and slowly trying to find my energy again.
Maybe the words are still somewhere in my head, hiding behind all this stress and tiredness. Maybe they just need a little more time.
But until then...I will keep trying... 😉
So let us see what the future brings!
