POLYGAMY
I find it funny that some people consider polygamy to be a sin. Like, I find it bold some think when judgement day comes, polygamy will take some to hell. There is nowhere in the bible where polygamy was outrightly mentioned or condemned, yet it is a popular practice in the old testament and new testament days. Neither christ, nor his apostles conducted a single marriage because it was not the business of the church unless you found yourself aspiring for a leadership position in the church.
You see, much is unknown of the bible. We can never truly fully understand the system of God.
Marriage is a physical and cultural institution, not spiritual as most people tend to believe. It is for this reason why each cultures has their own way of conducting marriages which is different from other cultures. The yoruba way differs from the hausa way, differs from the igbo way, differs from the Indian way.
You don't like polygamy, you don't support polygamy, it's fine. But don't vilify or demonize it. Yeah, it is easy to point out the problems of polygamy, but monogamy also has its flaws and problems too.
