Having a good lighting in your broilersbird pen tends to have a great influence towards their growth, infact it really play a crucial role towards fast growth of your birds and the weight gain as well.
Broilersbird tend to eat more especially under proper lighting and as a matter of this, it does enhance their growth and weight. So if you want a great feeding performance from your birds then it is advisable to put a very bright light in your bird's pen or coop.
It happens that I live in an area where our lighting system is very poor and this really affect the growth of my broilers bird since they don't usually feed at night and when I compared them with my friend birds that live in area with stable light, then I noticed a little different in terms of growth and weight and that's why I don't rely on lighting system in my area but instead I make use of rechargeable bulb which usually last for up to 4-5 hours and it is enough for my birds to finish their feeds.
And also, the brightness of the light in your bird's pen or coop is very important as it aids proper feeding and drinking especially when your birds are in the first week of bringing them in. If the light in your bird's pen is not bright enough make sure to try and increase the light intensity to ensure proper feeding and drinking for your birds.
Make sure to find the kind of lightning system that best work for you since there different kinds of light regimens. And ensure to adjust the duration of the light in your bird's pen or coop to avoid overfeeding.
