It is another beautiful day and it is with great pleasure that I am welcoming everyone to my blog. I hope you're doing well and having a great day in your various places. I am here today to share with you about the development of my broiler birds and I would love to stay tuned till the end.
Life is all about change that to the farm and entrepreneur, change is not exception. A lot of process and changes has to occurred before a farmer can think of harvesting and this is also applied to an investor because investing takes time and required a lot of patience and likewise is raising broiler birds.
It is exactly 5days since I brought in my birds and I must say some things has changed most especially in their growth, feeding rate, their thirst for water and the rate in which they pooped 😁. Just like any farmers or entrepreneurs, progress is very important to reach out to our goals. Their growth and other changes I noticed in them means the business is progressing and most importantly, I haven't recorded any mortality rate since have brought them in, with is a great joy for me.
But what has really changed in my birds? The first that have changed is their growth and this has to do with their size and weight as well. They have already started to grow feather and they are becoming bigger day by day.
Another thing that has changed in my broiler birds is their feeding and drinking rate which is increasing day by day. Though that is not a new thing since it is what they require alter their growth rate.
They rate in which they poop has also increased, and this due to their increase rate of their feeding and drinking. This will continue to increase as they continue to grow bigger and that will be the time that I would have to be packing their bedding more often.
The thing that I changed about them is introducing the iron feeders to them by replaced the plastic tray feeders which they have been using since day one. And this is because their growth have increased and they need more materials to do so especially feeds and plastic tray feeders can't give them that anymore, unless I want to stress myself by giving them feeds time to time.
Since the iron feeders can contain more feeds, then this will save me stress of giving them feeds time to time and it will also meet up with their feeding rate and this will improve their growth and development as well. And this also means that my investment is in progress gradually.
