How do you feel about life today? What is your attitude towards life? Have you ever felt like your goal is simply to survive? Well, that might be exactly what you will accomplish if that is your goal!
But, have you ever met people with an attitude that takes them higher and further? The strange thing you will notice is that those people are not having an easier life than you have. In fact, many of them have failed more times than you could ever imagine. What is the difference? It is their attitude! They have an attitude that makes them fly higher. What does this mean?

How a good attitude will take you further and higher!
- Many people live as if they are victims. Whenever something happens around them, they are immediately the victims of the story and they are just suffering because of it. When you feel victimized, you will have a very hard time working around it with a good attitude. A victim will feel sorry for themselves, while a person with a good attitude might experience the pain and the attack and the trouble, but they will immediately look for a way out and around and across the trouble.
- A person with a good attitude is much easier to be around. They will not look to hurt you or destroy your day, but instead, they will be inspired and share good words and encouragement. Many are afraid of encouraging others because they feel threatened by the thought that the other person might think too highly of themselves. Somehow, it feels easier to just push people down, because that secures your spot on the top. But, with a good attitude, you will not fear others, but you will be happy to encourage and inspire others in order to see their success. You also know that you will reap the fruit of sawing good words in the right time.
These are just some of the ways in which a good attitude can help you. I could also let the list go on saying that a person with the right and the good attitude will help you get higher, also in a very practical way.
Walking in the mountains... a very concrete example of altitude!
I have been walking in some nice mountains in Germany, Austria, and several other countries. I have often done so with larger groups and my task has often been to walk in the back and try to encourage the people suffering to keep on walking. And do you know what? Those struggling with their attitudes will have a much harder time reaching the top, even though they might be more fit than many of the people in the front. It is in their heads. They want to complain, and they will feel tired, simply because they use their energy complaining and seeing the hardship, instead of enjoying the ride and the view.
So, the matter of attitude can also be seen clearly in real life during a walk in the mountains!
