Hoy en día en Venezuela, estudiar se ha vuelto muy difícil por la situación del país, sin embargo muchos jóvenes que salen del bachillerato sienten un deseo grande por seguir estudiando, pero la gran mayoría de ellos o no saben que estudiar o no deciden seguir estudiando porque ven que actualmente en Venezuela no hay mucho futuro.

Today in Venezuela, studying has become very difficult due to the situation in the country, however many young people who leave high school feel a great desire to continue studying, but the vast majority of them either do not know what to study or do not decide to continue studying because they see that currently in Venezuela there is not much future.

Qué pasa que muchos jóvenes no saben lo que es la vocación porque piensan que deben estudiar algo que les genere muchos ingresos económicos y si eso está bien pero hay que pensar un poco en lo que son las verdaderas vocaciones, hoy en día le puedes preguntar a muchos chamos que quieren estudiar o qué les gusta y responden que no saben, bien sea por el desánimo que sienten o porque no se conocen internamente.

La palaba vocación no significa solo vocación religiosa, no solo significa ser sacerdote o querer ser monja o religiosa, no, la palabra vocación quiere decir aquello a lo que Dios te ha llamado es decir, aquello que te apasiona hacer, lo que te gusta, aquello que te mueve y que te genera felicidad y te motiva a seguir mejorando y aprendiendo cada día, esto es importante porque si nosotros no amamos lo que hacemos a diario en nuestro trabajo, nos convertimos en profesionales frustrados y un profesional frustrado es aquel que se encuentra trabajando pero con amargura, con tristeza o con rabia.

The word vocation does not only mean a religious vocation, it does not only mean being a priest or wanting to be a nun or religious, no, the word vocation means what God has called you to, that is, what you are passionate about doing, what you like, what moves you and makes you happy and motivates you to keep improving and learning every day, this is important because if we don't love what we do every day in our work, we become frustrated professionals and a frustrated professional is one who finds himself working but with bitterness, sadness or anger.

Entonces, vocación tiene que ver con muchas cosas, puedes tener vocación sacerdotal, vocación religiosa, vocación matrimonial, a la familia, eso también es una vocación y por supuesto las vocaciones profesionales, que son todas aquellas carreras universitarias o laborales como por ejemplo puede ser que tu vocación sea ser maquilladora profesional o futbolista profesional o ser músico eso también es una vocación, puede ser que tu vocación sea ser veterinario o médico cirujano lo que sea que te imagines pero que te mueva y te inspire eso es tener vocación, que cuando lo haces, sientes que no estás trabajando por dinero aunque evidentemente necesitamos el dinero para muchas cosas por supuesto pero el sentido de tener vocación a algo es hacerlo porque es tu pasión, que no te están obligando, es algo que amas y ya y amando lo que haces sin pensar tanto en el dinero eso se llama vocación.

Para poder conectarte contigo mismo y lograr descubrir cual es tu verdadera vocación, que es a lo que Dios te ha llamado, tienes que tener una intima conversación contigo, debes conocerte muy bien y tener los ojos muy abiertos porque a veces te lo va mostrando Dios con el día a día, por ejemplo, en mi caso yo soy veterinario y mi vocación la descubrí cuando era niña, una vez fui a visitar a una familia en el estado Guarico en Venezuela y estaba con unas primas caminando en lo que me consigo con un cachorrito encerrado y a mi me pareció que estaba abandonado, entonces decidí rescatarlo y darlo en adopción, lo cuidamos, le sacamos todas las garrapatas que tenía y se las saqué con las manos, le dimos comida y agua y desde entonces siempre supe que era lo que quería ser de grande.

Cómo les digo las vocaciones son muchas, les di un ejemplo de mi vocación profesional, pero tengo otras vocaciones como la vocación matrimonial eso es algo que tengo muy claro porque es por lo que sueño, por lo que vivo cada día, debemos conocernos muy intimamente para saber que es lo que nos motiva y que no, que es lo que amamos, lo que nos gusta, solo así se pueden descubrir las verdaderas vocaciones.
