While choosing fabrics for my style i always go for the one with unique cotton and more colorful fabrics.
There is no doubt I'm a big fan of ankara fabrics and thats because of its uniqueness and i can style it into anything i want. another thing is that you don't have to spend big before you can style yourself, Ankara fabrics are relatively cheap and for this particular blouse, it doesnt take upto 2 yards of the materials.
Ankara tops can be worn on anything, as seen in the picture above, its worn on a short skirt
I can also wear it on a black pant
And also on a blue denim jean, whatever you are choosing for sure you are not going wrong, 'Ankara is well suited with a trousers or skirts, and sure you can slay with it.
how do i arrived at my short sleeved blouse/top
- first thing i do whenever i want to make a sewing of any style, be it short or long is to draw the pattern first, then i measure my sleeve length, the width and how long i want it to be plus the arms thickness so that i will know what measurements am taking
Not forgetting the full measurements, of course this important before cutting your fabrics for sewing which muat include, the length of the blouse, burst/waist rounds,shoulder and back. also the armscye, the distance from arm to neck and also to the back of the shoulder.
The points are carefully marked out before proceeding into cutting the fabrics and then sew
Before i starts producing a particular style for people i make sure i do try it out on myself first and seek for people's suggestions and comments so as to know how perfect it is.
