Good day hivians, it’s your main, Virtualbull. I have not been online and I am so sorry about that, recently changed my modeling software from Blender to Autodesk Maya, so I couldn’t post much because I was trying to adapt and learn a lot about the software. Without any further speaking I present to you my first actual creation using the Autodesk Maya... The Egg Temple!!! Let’s go over the creation, shall we!!!
First of all, I used a poly mesh popularly known as a sphere, an illustration below;
Next i scaled down the sphere to the shape of an egg using the scale tool, an illustration below;
Then I created a plate in which I placed the egg on top of still using the sphere poly mesh. Got into wireframe mode which allowed me see through the shape, in face edit mode I selected the parts of the sphere which I didn’t need and deleted it to get my flat plate, solidification took place also, illustrations below;
I then kicked off creating my temple stands using a poly mesh known as cylinder, an illustration below;
Using the bevel tool, I added extra loop cut, then reduced the thickness a little using the offset tool to give it the circular rough feel, illustrations below;
Noticing the bent stands, those where done by using the deform tool > linear deform > bend, an illustration below;
I also added a poly mesh known as plane, I am sure it was already noticed. Applied a lambert material to the plane, then added the color red.
Next was the addition of materials to the egg, plate and temple stand, which a blinn material was added and some coloring, an illustration below;
Arraignment, rendering, and finalization was also done.
THE END!!!
