Traveling is one of my favorite hobbies (which I just don't practice anymore due to the lack of money specifically for that, haha!). To be able to know every bit of place that builds the world is one of my big dreams... And despite knowing that knowing everything is humanly impossible, I still want to travel the world and get to know as many places as I can.
This month's challenge in the TOP 03 contest is very interesting (and kinda inspiring) because it is managing to get me to write about the places I want to visit on my travels and at the same time, giving me new alternatives about new places (considering what the other participants are writing in your posts) that I need to know.
So, let's travel with me... Here I go!
#01. AUSTRALIA
I really don't know how to explain the love I have for this incredible place, but the fact is that this is one of the places I most want to visit (it's probably the option that ranks first on my personal list). It's something that I can't really put into words (and only those who admire this place so much like me can understand me completely)... However, I'll try to explain it anyway.
Since I was just a child, when I saw the first images about Australia I was left jaw-dropping (honestly, even today I can't understand it). The landscapes are extremely beautiful (especially the beaches and nature, which are quite awesome in every single way), the weather is just excellent (which is perfect to me) and I have an extra factor to go there: meeting the kangaroos (yes... because I like them a lot, haha).
#02. GREECE
I like history and one of the periods over decades that I'm most curious to know (for so many reasons, which I won't list because otherwise the post would be too long, haha) to acquire more knowledge is the Greek period. So, one of my perfect trips (considering everything I know from books, movies, paintings and photos) would be to visit Greece (which really must be a sensational place).
This place breathes culture and seems to have an incredible atmosphere. When I watch something about this place, it's like I'm there, close to all the beautiful architecture and all those historical facts. Without a doubt, visiting this place is on my travel list because it is a cradle of inexhaustible and amazing culture. Sooner or later... I really need to go there.
#03. DUBAI
This is an option that many people consider something "exotic", because it is a travel destination that is not so common and as I like things that are not so common (usually what is very common makes me feel a little bored and it doesn't give me a good feeling), that's one of the reasons why I want to get to know the incredible Dubai.
One of the things that attracts me most in this place is how it was built in the middle of the desert. I think it's amazing how the evolution of this place happened and how they preserve part of its ancient roots connected with everything that is most modern in the city. It is the old and the new "sharing" the same space (which, by the way, has a very pleasant beauty).
So, folks... That's it, I hope you enjoyed my nominations in the same way that I enjoyed writing them. One day, I hope we can all travel everywhere we write for this edition of the contest.
