My new painting "Magnolia" 🌺
The material that is needed to paint this picture: canvas (I buy a canvas already stretched on a stretcher, caton, primed), brushes (of different sizes and different shapes), acrylic paints (I use paints from different professional firms), water to rinse the brushes, a rag or wipes for wiping brushes, leaf, glue for leaf, varnish. Well, that’s all, I don’t seem to have forgotten anything)
In general, if you decide to paint a picture and something suddenly goes wrong, then write to me, I will gladly tell you)
Time to write: I painted the picture in just a couple of weeks, as the deadlines were tight, I needed to draw it for my birthday. I gave this picture for my birthday.
The first step is a pencil sketch on the canvas. Then I paint the underpainting with paint. In this case, the underpainting is red. I love a bright underpainting so that the painting doesn't end up looking messy due to the underpainting going through. When painting a dark underpainting, you need to put many layers of paint on top. I paint in many layers, but I don't want any more. I like my writing technique.
Further work with color. I never liked painting with gloves. Yes, it pollutes the hands less, does not spoil the manicure. But I love the feel of paint, canvas, brushes. I like it.
I use different brushes. In this work, I used both round and flat brushes of various sizes. For example, you need a large flat brush to apply varnish. I also used a fan brush to remove the tarnish.
The next step is the background. Never judge the brightness of a painting without a background. On a white background, the picture always looks colorful and bright.
Work with gold leaf.
The picture is ready
