Entré al Redfish Rally porque quería motivarme a publicar más seguido, pero no sabía qué significaba participar en un concurso, así que he aprendido sobre la marcha, me he equivocado, pero sin duda me ha sido útil para mantenerme activa dentro de Hive.

Una de las primeras cosas con las que me encontré en Redfish Rally fue el chat en inglés en donde interactuamos los participantes y los organizadores del concurso, la interacción en vivo en inglés me ha asustado mucho, siempre dudo si me he explicado bien. Hasta ahora ha salido bien, pero ha sido difícil para mí, por eso soy el gatico que llora si debo hablar en inglés.

Para el primer reto de RedFish Rally, tuvimos que escribir un post de curación de algunos de los participantes del Rally, y con unas publicaciones encantadoras hechas por un chico de India, escribí una publicación que me hizo muy feliz sobre sus fotografías y cómo logró captar la cultura de este país. Pero pronto descubrí que me había equivocado, que la tenía que escribir sobre una publicación reciente a la que aún se pudiera votar, lo cual es totalmente lógico, pero yo estaba tan feliz con la publicación que había escogido que no me detuve a revisar detenidamente las instrucciones, pero finalmente se me permitió reescribir mi post de curación y problema resuelto.

For the first RedFish Rally challenge, we had to write a curation post for some of the Rally participant, and with some delighted posts made by a guy from India, I wrote a post that made me very happy about his photographs and how he managed to capture the culture of this country. But I soon discovered that I made a mistake, that I had to write about a recent post that could still be voted, which is totally logical, but I was so happy with the post that I had chosen that I didn't stop to carefully review the instructions, but they finally allowed me to rewrite my curation post and problem solved.

Siempre luego de escribir mi post y traducirlo, hacer el markdown de la publicación es una tarea muy difícil para mí. Aprendí lentamente, pero puedo pasar más tiempo haciendo el Markdown que escribiendo el post, por eso me siento como el gato químico cuando logro hacerlo correctamente.

Es un aspecto que ha mejorado con el paso de las semanas, y actualmente ya el lunes que se anuncia el tema de la actualización de la semana ya tengo la idea que escribiré. Si sigo así tal vez antes de terminar el concurso podré hacer todos los desafíos adicionales.
