Its human and an honorable thing to once in a while visit the sick in the hospital and try showing them some love. The sick people in the hospitals need to be cared for due to the painful and a very discomforting situation that they are faced with. You can visit anyone in the hospital and render to them some love, they may not be your relatives or friends but one thing stands out, “they are human beings” like you and me that need special attention and care.
I bought some fruits from one of the markets around my home area and took them to the hospital. Upon reaching the hospital I asked for permission from the administrator of the hospital. She gladly allowed me to do the exercise of giving to the patients. She allocated me to one of the nurses who knew the patients that were greatly in need of the food support that I had carried with me.
The hospital atmosphere is very humbling, walking through those different sections and seeing different patients with various kinds of sicknesses. This makes you realize something that life is very precious and it’s important to live it carefully and wisely.
I distributed the food items to the different needy patients in the different sections of the hospital and these were very happy to see a stranger like me from nowhere coming to their care. They were refreshed and I believe, that act of love and care made a difference in their lives.
