Hello friends from #hive, #gem!!!! It's been a while since I've been here to say hello. The truth is that I've had many inconveniences but thankful to God because I'm here again...🙏👏🎉🎉.
In view of the world situation that greatly affects all of us, I would like to explain a little about PCR testing.
There are several laboratory tests that help us to identify, diagnose or confirm a disease, but nowadays we are very familiar with the name PCR 😳😷. And is that there are two types of PCR tests.
The first PCR test (C-Reactive Protein) is a protein produced in the liver and released into the bloodstream in response to an inflammatory-infectious process. In the laboratory it can be done by various techniques including latex immunoagglutination, turbidimetry and others.
The second PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) test is a molecular biology technique used in the laboratory to amplify and identify the genetic material of a sample or pathogen. It serves as a paternity test and is currently of useful importance in identifying the SARS-CoV-2 virus that produces covid-19. It is a very sensitive test with a high degree of specificity; no matter how unrepresentative the sample is, it detects the virus.
