I love Excel, and in my free time I use it to create pixel art. Today I’m sharing how I made this Pikachu, blending my love for computers, cartoons, and anime with a clear, enjoyable process.
Proceso paso a paso
- Estructura inicial: Comencé con las orejas para definir la silueta. Usé el “lineado” (bordes y contornos) para marcar las formas claves sin rellenar aún.
Initial structure: I started with the ears to define the silhouette. I used borders and outlines to mark key shapes before filling.
- Rostro y expresión: Continué con los ojos, la boca y los cachetes rojos. Ajusté el tamaño de las celdas para que los rasgos quedaran proporcionados.
Face and expression: I moved on to the eyes, mouth, and red cheeks. I adjusted cell size to keep the features proportional.
- Cuerpo y brazos: Fui construyendo el cuerpo poco a poco. Los brazos, ayudan a dar carácter y equilibrio a la pose.
Body and arms: I built the body little by little. The arms help to give character and balance to the pose.
- Cola icónica: Añadí la cola en forma de rayo, cuidando los bordes marrón en las puntas para mantener la esencia de Pikachu.
Iconic tail: I added the lightning bolt-shaped tail, taking care of the brown edges at the tips to maintain the essence of Pikachu.
- A distancia el sombreado se percibe mejor, dando volumen al personaje.
From a distance, the shading is more noticeable, giving volume to the character.
