Like the chimes of an hourglass

Inside, the shadows dwell,
they roam the house like masters.
Every wall, every room
is dirty with their sticky footprints
that stain everything they touch.
Their voices were imprisoned
and their footsteps resound
like the chimes of an hourglass...
without onomatopoeias, mute.
The house drowns
with a dull sound,
an obtuse whistling wind
languishing in the expanded labyrinth
that twists like the tangle outside.
Traces of intertwined ashes
paint the wall that intermingles
the sensation of death.
The house looks like the skeleton
of a forest of truncated dreams,
a nightmare of an outraged prostitute.
Loneliness reigns in the empire
of idleness that subtracted
the heart of the house that fights
against the fury of time.
The dead sticks of the vines
are embedded in its defenseless skin
that defends the waiting
although the future is uncertain.

Como campanadas de un reloj de arena

Adentro, habitan las sombras,
recorren la casa como dueñas.
Cada pared, cada habitación
está sucia de esas huellas
pegajosas con que tiñen
lo que tocan.
Sus voces quedaron presas
y sus pasos resuenan
como campanadas de un reloj de arena...
sin onomatopeyas, mudo.
La casa se ahoga
con un sonido sordo,
un silbido de viento obtuso
que languidece en el laberinto
dilatado que se retuerce
como la maraña de afuera.
Trazos de cenizas entretejidas
pintan el muro que entremezcla
la sensación de muerte.
La casa parece el esqueleto
de un bosque de sueños truncados,
una pesadilla de prostituta ultrajada.
La soledad reina en el imperio
de la desidia que sustrajo
el corazón de la casa que lucha
contra la saña del tiempo.
Barrotes de bejucos muertos
se enquistan en su piel indefensa
que defiende la espera
aunque el futuro sea incierto.
