English Version 🇺🇸
Happy start to the week! Yesterday was quite complicated because I had to finish buying some things to take to Dr. Felipe Guevara Rojas Hospital in El Tigre, Anzoátegui state, where my daughter has been hospitalized since yesterday when they called us to bring her here for the necessary tests for her leg surgery, the one she had in the accident.
Since yesterday was Sunday and public transportation is usually quite busy, I had to leave a little earlier to bring her food, help her with some hygiene, and wait for the surgery—God willing, it will be soon—so we can wait the appropriate amount of time before starting her rehabilitation. I'm perhaps a little anxious, but it's very hard for me to see her unable to do the things that used to be part of her daily routine.
She's in a room on the second floor with other patients and their companions, but the important thing is that we're alive and determined to get through this. Of course, we need the help and support that the hospital staff has been giving us.
It's difficult, my friends Hivers, to describe this difficult moment in words, but we must accept and face reality to move forward. These are tests that life puts before us to appreciate all that we have and never feel less, because it is in these moments that we become aware of the lessons that an action as insignificant to some as being able to move freely under our own power teaches us.
