Our very first hike in Jasper National Park, Alberta, was the “Valley of Five Lakes”. So many photos ops including: Flowers, Mushrooms, Winding trails, Mountain vistas, and Brown coloured water! As mentioned previously, we only made it to the “First Lake”. Nonetheless, there was still plenty of great views along the way. I need to enlist the help of
to share with us the name of the Orange flower (is it a Prairie Lily, even though it is not from the prairies?). Now we came across this strange pond, which was brown in colour. Very unusual actually. I do not remember ever coming across a “brown-coloured” body of water before.
