Hail to the Hive!
This morning, before I’d had a coffee and before the heat of the day licked in, I helped my neighbour take his boat through a swing bridge and to a winding hole to turn his boat around. Winding holes are areas designated for turning boats around and are wider. I decided to walk along the tow path rather than hitch a ride to better be able to take photos and I’m glad I did.
As I passed under the second bridge I noticed the dancing liht reflections undernthe arch of the bridge and immediately recognized this as an opportunity to juxtapose colour and black and white shots. M bing me I also include a oloj splash on asll which I think is the pick of e bunch but I’d also love to hear w y’all think of the 3 images and which works best for you and why.
I think the monochrome shot also shos off the reflections very well with the dark and light playing off each other perfectly and yet somehow, as nice as the colour shot is, it’s my least favourite of the three although would work very well on its own.
Maybe I am just biased as I love my black and white shots and the splash colour is fun to play with and I’m loving the results.
Let me know what you all think. I am loving this new community as this is a torment I have many times with my photography, which to use? Which to use?
