Hail to the Hive!

I really enjoy messing about with images and experimenting with various means of image manipulation and this community gives a great opportunity to do just that. So today my chosen model, if you will, is the beast of a trick that parks across the road of an evening.

I’ve been meaning to pop out and grab some shots and this morning was a perfect morning to do so with the sky and air recently refreshed and cleared from the heavy rain last night.

Now as always I offer up 3 different images of each photo. Colour, colour splash and black & white. Please let me know which ones worked for you as I always feel some mediums work better than others with certain shots.

Now each style works in its own right but…

Personally I am loving the colour splash shots with the shotsmof the beast taken from the road. I like the contrast of black and white with the solash of colour from the dawn sun rising.

But the black and whites are good too.

With the shots from the air, taken w8th the DJI mini 2 drone, I just can’t pick between them.

Each works so well for me and I love the pattern, patchwork of the area with the truck in the street. The mix of textures just speaks to me.

I’d be interested to hear which of the images and styles works for you. As I said before I love this community for offering up a platform to showcase the different styles of the same image. I find it a lot of fun and offers up a different reason to be posting on hive when I don’t necessarily having anything to say 😂.
