Having the opportunity to have done a few African Safari Tours it has given me that experience that has touched my soul in many ways where nature reveals it's raw and untamed beauty to have stood in the presence of Africa's wildlife has given me that connection to that amazing wildlife that surrounds you like no other place on this planet remining me how small we really are and how magnificent the natural world can be.

Apart from the amazing wildlife you encounter the landscapes themselves are also an unforgettable experience sweeping endlessly across the golden skies of savanna the air carries the scent of dry grass and warm air followed by the rains and then the sounds of the birdsongs and the animal calls echoing across the horizon just makes you feel so alive could never experience that on any other part of this planet.

The equipment used was all Nikon. Early shots with a D70, later shots with 2 x D3 bodies.
