This need to be removed
It has been said that cleaness is next to godliness. When I read about this community, I discovered that they are out to help us maintain a healthy life. Keeping our environment clean is a daily routine. Is something we do always. But am going to share with you what I did on Saturday 26/8/2023.
Every last Saturday if the month is sanitation in my city Akwa Ibom state. For past months now, the general dustbin provided by the community was removed. What we do is to burn it in our backyard. This raining season is making it more difficult to burn it daily.
I decided to remove everything by burning all. I call my sister's daughter to help me because th work was much for me alone. I got my packer and brush ready.
Frist, I swept and brush my office before I came back to the house to work at the backyard. I came back with empty carton which I want to use to burn all the refuse.
What I did was to put dry one inside the cartoon and light it fire. I was putting it small small until it remain small.
I kept on adding the dry one to burn the others. It really worked out. Below was the remaining still burning.
The young girl really assisted me even helping me to take the pictures. At the end, I was able to clean up that dirty place to become clean again.
In conclusion, when our environment is clean, we are happy, we are proud and we breathe fresh air.
