Traveling is one of the things i enjoy doing because I am a type that like visiting new places.
This happens that i even take traveling as part of my best hobby.
Traveling which involves moving from one place to another is so interesting to me because when I change environment to other places i see it as fun and i learn a lot of things in the new environment.
MY BEST TRAVELING EXPERIENCE
My best traveling experience was when I traveled to a state in the northern part of Nigeria.
For so many years I have been playing to go to north and see their partner of life till when i went there for a convention at lafia.
Though I enjoyed the experience because i have long awaited to visit not but what pains me a lot that day was sitting in a particular chair for up to 11 hours ,that part was not funny ooo even to the extent some people where now standing up just to strengthen their body ...
We moved from umuahia around 7 am and reach lafia in at about 7pm in the evening that was my first time of year traveling such a distance and my first time of being in the north.
The northern part of Nigeria (nasarawa State which is the part I know) is very ok and enjoyable.
They are friendly and accommodating though language barrier is one big problem the are facing and this really delt with me.
Language is really something everyone needs to know especially English language as it is the general language use in most part of the world.
Language was the challenge i faced there because it is only few of them that understands me others was only Hausa the use to speak and it landed me in Learning it fast so as to survive my days there.
during my day's sometimes if i go out to eat it is some that understands English that will interpret to the the person selling the food before she will understand what am saying.
One very good day i went out to eat by that time i have not learnt how to place order of what i want in Hausa so that day i want to eat Garri but i ended up drinking tea due the Hausa man did not understand what i said and me too was surprise when the brought the tea ,so me i was thinking is their routine maybe that they are giving tea to people before serving them their order.
But after drinking the man told me my bill for the tea i was really surprised and this was how i ended up in paying and eat what i did not plan for.
The experience was not funny at all to me because it was what i ordered verses what i got.
