Hello friends! Today was another opportunity for us to make our planet better and cleaner. I went out, as usual, with my cleaning tools to pick up some litter, this time in a different street that wasn’t mine. I wanted to raise awareness about cleaning in that area, as I hadn't done any cleaning activities there before.
There was quite a bit of litter to pick up and dispose of, which I did. While cleaning, I was mindful of my safety—what I was picking up and where I was stepping—because, as I mentioned in my last cleaning blog, I almost got injured during my previous cleaning activity. This time, I was more careful.
Since it was my first time cleaning this street, it was natural for the residents to be curious. Many people approached me to ask what I was doing, with some even wondering if I was a government official or being paid to clean their neighborhood. I calmly explained who I was and why I was doing this. I also spoke to some individuals who were particularly interested in how they could join the effort to improve our planet and how every little bit makes a difference.
Overall, today was a successful cleaning activity. It required effort, but it was truly worth it. Below are some pictures from my cleaning efforts today.
