Maintaining household cleanliness is very important and should not be disregarded. WHAT IS THE REASON FOR COVERING OUR CUPS AND COOKING UTILITIES? I always make a point of protecting cups and other household items from houseflies, and there are various reasons why. First and foremost, flies are known for transporting diseases and bacteria. When they land on our food or drinks, they can easily spread these hazardous germs, endangering our health. It's unnerving to consider how something as simple as a cup of water or a plate of food may become contaminated.
