The most effective way to show love for the environment is to do something yourself. Today I have conducted a small yet conscious cleaning activity around my own home, which I am sharing with all of you. If each of us gives a little importance to the environment around us, then this world can become a much more beautiful, cleaner and healthier place.
โ The problem starts with the garbage lying around
For a while now, I have been noticing various types of garbage scattered around my house โ such as plastic wrap, juice bottles, snack packets, polythene, etc. Many people may have thrown these away carelessly, but their impact is long-lasting. Plastic does not decompose easily and destroys soil fertility, and is even harmful to animals.
You can see how the garbage was spread in the pictures below:
๐งค Start the work with your own hands
I decide that I will clean today without delay. Even though I don't have gloves, I work carefully using my hands. I pick up every piece of dirt and fill it in a plastic bag. No one helped me with this work, but I know that awareness starts with myself.
At this time, I see how many types of dirt have accumulated here โ drink bottles, chips packets, polythene bags, betel leaves, etc. I patiently pick up everything one by one in a bag.
โ After cleaning
When the surrounding soil looked clean at the end of the work, it felt like a moment of relief. This small task brought a new peace to my mind. That area next to the house looked much more beautiful than before.
๐คณ My responsibility: Proof and motivation
I take a picture after the cleanliness drive โ it is not only proof, but also a self-confidence for myself. I am posting this picture so that others can be inspired too.
๐ง Feel something
Although this act is small, it has a very big message behind it.
We often think "What can I do alone?" โ but the truth is, if everyone does a little, big changes are possible. Cleanliness is not just an external thing, it is very important for our minds, environment and future.
I believe that change starts with ourselves.
