Making a living is a quest on its own, but making a family is a whole different level of adventure, separate from taking care of oneself. Everything comes in stages.
The first stage is being able to take care of oneself, acquiring the things needed, making some petty expenses without help, and assisting in paying bills. This stage is not easy to overcome, especially if one is struggling with life and fighting to keep their head above water.
The next stage comes when one capitalizes on having more privacy and decides to leave home, taking on more responsibilities, such as paying bills and feeding themselves without relying on assistance.
The last stage is when one feels ready for more responsibilities—that's the point when raising a family comes in. The population of the world is actually rising due to the fact that the birth rate is at its peak.
The planet is big enough to accommodate the last stage of bringing a life into existence. That is why we need to keep it clean, so the new generation can enjoy a conducive and safe environment.
