Hello great farmers,
Happy new week to you all, hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Just in the spirit of the new week, I am so excited to share with you a harvest I made from my plantation farm. This piece of land is owned by my dad and I was the one who did the planting some time ago last year. I still remember it was during the rainy season I planted the banana and plantain sucker.
Harvest time is always the moment that brings joy to the heart of a farmer. Having the ability to explore your world as an agriculturist is a beautiful thing. The experience is beautiful. Everyone has learned how to cultivate the soil and also real animals if not for commercial purposes but for our own use.
Most people see agriculture as a dirt work but trust me this is where the money is, and there is no nobel profession other than this, we provide the food everyone eats in the world, without the farmers most people will starve.
To plant a crop like plantain and banana can be a little stressful, what I mean is that you have to apply a lot of technique, one have to carefully cultivate it if you want a better and bountiful harvest. This morning I was prepared to go to the farm. I knew I would have to make some harvest since I saw them last week when I visited. I needed to go with the wheelbarrow to aid my transportation.
When I brought the harvest back home, my mum and dad were very happy and they were very proud of me. All the credit should be given to my grandma. She taught me how to become a better farmer today. I'm so proud of myself and I have this satisfaction that I have been able to engage myself in farming and getting some good results.
These are some of the pictures I took from the harvest hope this inspires you to become a farmer, you can plant anything you want to and trust me you will be happy you did. If I was to buy this from the market with the current economy inflation this is worth #7,000 in my area, so you see I just added value to my family by plantain them.
