Hello my fellow farmer,
Good afternoon all, how are you doing today trust you all are fine. Today is Monday and just a new day. Let's keep a positive mindset towards agriculture.
Last week was awesome for me and I am sure for all Nigerians, because Saturday was the day set aside for us to decide who rules us in the next four years.
Back to today's post I want to share with you how I nurture my pepper plants despite the dry season. About the last three months I got this pepper from the market and despite the fact that it is a small body pepper but it has a tasty aroma in food so I decided to take out some side to plant it.
When I started to plant this pepper my mum told me the seed would survive because of the season, but I took it upon myself to always water the seed every morning and evening, after some weeks I found that the seeds had germinated. It became worse when I transplanted it to the permanent site.
I made it my habit to water the pepper plant. Then early this month I was surprised to see some flowers from it and then the fruit after.
HOW TO CULTIVATE PEPPER ON NIGERIA SOIL.
It is just a very simple method with a few steps. Irrespective of the weather, if you're determined to get a bountiful harvest you will definitely get it.
. Get a container with loamy soil
add animal waste then water twice daily to allow the soil and the animal waste to mix properly and then leave it for some days till the animal waste starts to decay.
.Spread your seeds and water it twice daily
. When the seeds germinate you can transfer it to your desire place and keep watering it and animal waste
