What time do you need to wake up?
As for me, it's supposed to be 4am.
If you're a Christian like me, you might think of a psalm that says it's vain for me to sit up late and wake up early for the Lord does as He wills it. Truth is, I go to sleep really early. I'm already fast asleep before 7pm.
So what do I do at 4am?
First, I utter prayer, share a verse on socmed then went down to dining table, heat up water and enjoy my coffee.
As I sip my coffee, I'm watching a sermon clips on YouTube or Facebook or I'm editing a dose of advice on phonto- a text to picture editor to share for the day.
My parents may wake up around this time too so we have opportunity to talk about stuff, my plans and some works that needs their cooperation.
At 4:30am, I will go to my beloved Sweeney and Brenda for it will be their breakfast. Usually, I leave my phone behind so I haven't taken a picture.
My Mom will start preparing breakfast around 4:50am so that I'll be able to eat on time.
At 5am, I'll prepare my bag, and call out my adopted teen Victoria if she's not up yet; then I'll makes sure there's a bottled water and my phone in it; I bring a salted peanut or skyflakes biscuits for sometimes, I'm just so low in energy to move.
In this short period, less than an hour actually, for it's 25mins walk roundtrip from home to farm;
I'll feed the chickens,
check for ripe pineapples,
Weeds out veggies and soften the dirt surrounding the roots,
and I have to make sure I'll be home at 6:15am or else I'll be late to store opening.
Yesterday, I brought 3 cats to the farm to catch the mice so another minute to add to feed them.
At 6:40am, I must had my breakfast and must be taking a bath already. At 6:50am, I need to leave home to open the store.
I'll be at the store until 4pm but at times, when @Halmarkey2023 is so swamped with chores plus client's corn to shell or crack,I extend until 5pm.
Upon home arrival, I'll directly go to Brenda and Sweeney, feeding them and cleaning up their space. If my Mom is too busy with laundry and food preparation during lunchtime and haven't given them bath, I'll bathe them myself.
At 6pm, I usually have my dinner, take a half bath and go to bed.
Sometimes, I don't go to sleep right away; I watch a movie, usually can't finish it or an episode of a drama.
If I can't sleep before 8pm, I am certain that before 9pm, I am already in dreamland.
I may get disturbed in my sleep before 4am, like I went to pee at 2:30am or 3:00am, I take time praying or reading my Bible and meditating. If one or two thoughts strike me much, it will be a dose of advice for the day posted on my social media.

And that's how my day usually went as someone involved in business and farming. I'll try to carefully detail my weekend schedule on next blog.
