Hello Hivers 💕💞,
Yesterday it was a very busy long day for me because I went as far as driving 1 hour 30 minutes to and fro to where I sourced for my broiler poultry Birds. I eventually concluded in my mind to go for this type of poultry Birds because its mainly for meat production in terms of having occasions such as birthday ceremonies, graduation, and in some cases wedding. Like I said earlier broiler Birds are mainly for meat production wait in this case reduce the rate at which you go to the market every week to search for your meat.
I was thought how to raise this kind of birds when I was in school 7 years ago when I did a practical project on broiler birds right from the old chick. As part of the knowledge I gathered as at that time I was able to raise my own chicken as well. Now I did a little bit of preparation before and after the arrival of the birds which I would love to show down below.
- This was the place where I sourced my broiler birds from yesterday. It is a very reliable source. The Poultry bird breeder knows exactly what he is doing and he wouldn't do any act bring his name down. So is his trusted poultry farmer. I got to this particular location at Ita-alamu in Ilorin after I waited for a couple of hours before the arrival of the Poultry farmer.
This was when I loaded the broiler Poultry birds into the truck ready to take a journey.
- This was when I was still on the road coming to my own farm. Although I went when it was almost late in the evening.
- This was when I got home finally after being on road for more than 2hours. I also use wood shave as a little Mat bed for the new arrival birds as shown.
- I got home around 6:45pm and at this point in time I was very tired though I need to attend to the new broiler Birds.
This is the type of food I use for them presently although I use mortar and pistol grind it a little bit so as for them to be able to pick it up and digest it.
