Hello Hivers ππ,
This is the update from the Snail section of the farm and it is a very good thing to have this type of animals in combination with other animals such as dog, rabbit, sheep, goat and many more. But what is peculiar to this type of animal is that it is very easy to handle, it is very safe, it is also very easy to transport from one place to another. With the best of my knowledge and with my observations it is also easy to feed.
- There are so many questions concerning snail farming which I would like to say that first and foremost when you have a very good snail breed it will help you to fasting up so many processes. Well you are on breed is not up to your expectation then you can face a lot of challenges along the line. There is more to the rearing of snails. Concerning the food they eat you need to get updated on this as well. There are so many beliefs and theories that are just written in the paper but when it comes to the practical aspects of life it is not so at all. When we were in the university we were told slightly about snail farming how you can go about it and not too deep. But when I came out then,i realised so many things were not being taught at all so I decided to go on practical applications here and there and it worked. So this is to show you that so many things are going wrong theoretically. These are the types of the snail's I have in my farm and they are very healthy they eat absolutely well.
I always give them the best feeding routine everyday. Which makes me to conclude that the way and manner the consume also help them to grow more faster. Although I always check on them regularly and also sort them out weekly. These are some of the routines is the Farmer should do. When you have snails you need to sort them out on a regular basis.
The African giant snails can be found in Africa also it makes a lot of Farming easier. I said this because the African Giant Snails is one of the best snail breed here in Africa and I also know in all parts of the world. Easily grow up from egg, and the development is very rapid.
