The white Agric birds are also called The broiler Birds. This is what I mean there are so many white birds which are not broiler birds but this is the one I'm talking about it is called Agric poultry Birds. They are called this name because they eat constantly and also grow very fast. Although it's depend on how you fit them and also take care of them. when you want to go into this type of farming system you need to check up your capital and also the kind of environment you want to keep them in order to maintain personal hygiene and also their health status.
personal hygiene is very important when it comes to this broiler birds because if care is not taken if you have close to 50 Birds at a day old chick before you know it the steps to die off one after the other because of lack of hygiene. At this age in start from the Poultry cage till it reaches the feeding habits. There are some cases where by you feed them constantly in order to make them grow very fast and also to reach a market price quickly. There are some broiler birds which reaches maturity stage at the age of three to four months old. And it will reach a very good market price. this is to show us that the more you put in your energy the more output you get.
You can also raise them in open system or in a battery cage or inside the house depending on your own capacity which will review the output within a short period of time. I prefer to raise them inside a cage so as to see their performance even from afar.
- They are feeding habits should be normalised because they eat almost every time, every seconds, every minute so you need to regulate their feeding habit. Or else they will grow and reach obesity stage.
What you need to do is to feed them regularly as at when due because of reduction in weight it is very necessary to also be observant everyday. You also need to keep your farm records every day in order to be assured that they are really growing up so well.
- Regular change of water is highly necessary as well very early in the morning and also in the afternoon
